Chicago Dime is a Chicago-Texas fusion blues band. They say “we don’t just play the blues but the blues is in everything we play” by taking big elements of blues music with other influences to create a fresh and exciting sound.

The band initially started as a guitar & trumpet jazz duo in 2014 performing at the Merimbula Jazz Festival. Over the coming years more players were added and the band became Chicago Dime. With the MJF celebrating its 40th year, Pete and JR wanted to add to the festivities by writing and recording original contemporary jazz songs inspired by the atmosphere at Bazza's Bar on that first night. This is After Dark.
